will a 5 speed trans from a 1200 fit in my 4 speed 1100??????? :smoke

This question has been asked here a few times. The posted answer was always a big fat definite no. I suppose a huge amount of money might change that ...

S&S sells a engine case kit that will allow you to use 86-90 parts in it except for the tranny and primary which you use the complete primary setup of a 5 speed sporty. Expect to spend like $3000.00. But you will have a 5 speed ans still have all the other stuff from your 4 speed.
