I did the search thing, but I keep getting kicked of the forum.
So, is it possible to go from a 150 tire to a 180 on a stock rim without/ or at least with the minimal amount of modifications? And what would does modifications be?

I don't suggest going 30mm over on the stock rim. This will cause a problem with the shape of the tire. that is even if you can get it to mount..

I think it will fit under your fender, but you'll need a wider rim.

A 160 is the biggest you can go with stock rim and swing arm

So what should I be looking for in a rim (or any other modification) if I'm to pursue this? And where can i find said rim?

I think 180's need about 5.5" rim.
Here's a thread where somebody did it.

First thing you'll need to do is determine how wide you can go
So measure the swingarm as well as the fender..
although I have a solid mount, I was able to go 20mm over the stock size (in reality it's only 16mm due to the differences in tires) but I am at a point that I need to enlarge my swingarm and fender to put more in..
you can go to a wider width rim. stock is 3.5" so anything larger would be recommended.
You'll also need to offset the drive belt and spocket and spacers to fit.
Probably have to change out the bolts holding on the fender and turn signals to carriage bolts as well..

Thanks for all the info. & the quick replies.
Atlhough I'll be up for the challenge, I'm not looking into spending that kind of cash.
I'm going to stick with a 160 rear tire, thank again for all your input.

180 tire will fit with slight mods, mostly chain drive... a few members have already done it, but I'm too lazy to find any type of link to point you in the right direction.. :laugh :p

Not a big deal, thank anyway. I did find a few post when i was researching a few weeks ago but for some reason I can't find them. I just order a 160 rear tire and will be going with that instead.
