Has anyone received a Race Tuner kit that was lacking datalink cables?
I had to return to get the above mentioned cables. When I first received the box it only had the CD and an adaptor. the motorcycle link and the PC com link were missing. After a freindly reminder of just how much I've spent on my new purchase, a sympathetic eavesdropping wrench fetched me the cables, and no one in the store was very concerned about it.
I've read past posts about Harley-Davidson conspiracy theories suspected over such things, but it never hurts to just persuade someone into forking over the COMPLETE product purchased!
I just hope that this will prevent someone from getting denied access to the data specs of his legally purchased big ticket items.
As for my complete datalink kit, now I can make a legal backup copy of my current map. Also, I will be able to more closely monitor the most critical engine parameters! This is what was advertised and this is what I conveyed to them that I wanted, when I insisted on my missing items.
