Just got back from Skip's Cycles in Winchester, Va. Picked up 4 ft/lbs and 6 HP when he was done tuning. Dynoflow dyno.
tq hp
2500rpm 56 25
3500 70 47
4500 79 66
5500 74 79
6500 65 86
SE cams, SE ignition (limiter shut down at 6500, not 7k as advertised) HD dynojet, thunderjet and thunderheader, no ac. original set up was 46 low, 185 main and 80 tjet. Being really pleased, i forgot to ask him where he left it. (duh!)
Nice guy and a great shop! Too bad i am out of money.
Thanks also to Eddie at Elyria HD for help and advice!

Nice , ....80/80 the bar by which we measured high performance sporties.
86 ponies is really something.

Hi Bill, I told you that Skip is "The man" in these parts for making more ponies. Now, if you get rid of that 6500 rev limit, you should find a couple more. Looks like you were still climbing at 6500. We'll have to line them up at Summerduck one night.

Stick your AC back on and have him tune it with it on. You will get higher numbers without the AC and the fine tuning can be different with it on.

Just my .02

My HP difference with/without the SE AC was 6HP if I remember right.
