With the upgrade to VB 3.6.4 you can now upload a signature image instead of having to use the [img] tag (which is turned off for signatures now).

In order to use this feature go to USER CP > EDIT SIGNATURE

Then underneath the signature editor you will see the area that will allow you to upload a signature picture.

Upload your picture.

After the picture is uploaded click on Insert Signature Picture and SAVE SIGNATURE your picture will be placed into your signature.

This is ONLY available for XL Forum Team Members, Gold and Silver Supporting Vendors.

Guess not.

Your sig photo is one of the reason I am setting the restrictions. It is just WAY too large.

Well, if the signiture photos are the problem then why restrict signitures and signiture photos? Why not just restrict the photos?

my 2 cents..

leave the [img] and just limit sig size (dimension and kb size)

non members = 40k
members = 120k

max sig dimensions
600 wide x 240 tall (pixels) for everyone.

i understand this is your baby, but i really hate places that play favorites.

oh and..

you'll now find, that since you got rid of the auto last post, that the forum doesn't need to host sigs anymore.
so the webpage won't jump around with each download of a pic or sig.

this will put less stress on the server, making for a quicker forum.
