Finally got a sunny day, so here are some pics of my 2005 XL1200C. Some upgrades include: Dyna Wide Glide FX handlebars, chrome switch housings, chrome engine guard, sundowner seat with low medallion sissy bar and smooth bucket backrest, quick release detachable compact standard height windshield, rear turn signals wiring as stop/turn signal lights, black leather 1.6 inch grips, SE II pipes with air and carb upgrades, chrome braided cables, oil gage cap, and a bag. There may be more, but they don't to to mind at the present.

Looks very nice, it is 18 degrees and we have almost a foot of snow on the ground here...I'm jealous.

Ya, the grass is still green. I'll be mowing till mid December before it begins to brown for a couple months. Will start mowing again end of March. Trying to figure out how to put a mower behind the Sporty..:D

hey flathead45,

naw, a natural pic.........last week the street was a river. Give it another hour and it could snow, hail, sleet, blow, rain, get sunnier, get clolder, get hotter......weather here is like a woman.....even when you think you know what you got, it's never what you think:cry1

Mike,
I've cut grass in January too, just didn't want to rub the northerners too much (who am I kidding). Any hoot, temps got to about 63 here and was a bit cloudy, but went riding anyway. Yeh, the toll tag comes in real handy:chop

Did you put the handlebars on yourself? I am looking to put baby apes on mine (8.5" of rise) and wondered what I am going to get into.

Because of the custom made cables and the time involved in putting the hand controls on, I had HD do the work. I made a lot of changes at one time to make it cost effective. All other work I've done myself. Will have some new photos with changes to post within a couple days.........waiting on the sun.:)

Thanks Grayfeather. Been wanting to ask you for some time, is Grayfeather a tribel or native handle, or just a name you chose?:)
