Ok, I'm going to show everyone how stupid I really am.

What's the difference in Progressive 410, 412, 440? Also, what about 10 inch, 11 inch, and 12 inch?

I may be looking at replacing my stockers and if I wanted to raise the back end a bit, what would I use?

Ok, when you're done laughing, please respond responsibly.

Maybe we should direct this question to the ladies of the forum... :yikes ;) :D

I would like to add to Shamdogs question. Seems like I saw somewhere that the progressive shocks are 1 1/2" different in length from stock shocks to get the same clearance between tire and fender. Am I high ?
Progressive's home page is not real helpful IMO.
I also appreciate the help here.

All ya got to do is a Google search.

Here is Progressive Suspension's web page for Harley:

It explains all the various shocks

The best shocks are high voltage, low current. You can really make someone jump...

OH! nevermind.

Ok, let's try this. What are the longest shocks I can put on my '00 XLC? Will that raise the fender off the tire? None of the threads answer that. As for the progressives, I undestand that the 440's are the best they make.
