In preparation for Sturgis I am looking at all possible routes to Sturgis.

I used to live in Cheyenne, so I know Wyoming well,

So, If you guys can post some ideas, I would appriciate it, and if you want to join in on the ride, let me know.

UTAH--191 from AZ to Grand Junction--any senic suggestions, or better routes?

COLORADO--From Grand Junction to Cheyenne. I would like to go through Rocky Mountian National and Estes Park (been there) I have driven I-70 the whole way(boring until just before the tunnel, but the best is the river right by the road. I was thinking of cutting off at rifle and going to through craig, steamboat, rabbit ears pass, ect, then the back road. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

THANKS

THANKSThat's a cool route. I'd suggest taking 14 over from Walden over Cameron Pass and down the Poudre canyon and hooking up with 286 North up to Laramie, it's a great ride compared to going North on 125 into WY. Although, that's pretty too, ya can't really go wrong, but if you time it right there are great places to camp along the Poudre and Ft. Collins is a good place to yuk it up if your inclined that way :). If you decide to stop in Ft. Collins drop me a PM and tell ya where to get some good eats and beer.

Thanks for the reply--I used to go to Ft. Collins quite a bit to a little bar by the college which served old style and pabst--Can't remember the name. I will keep you posted on the ride and the route so we may meet along the way!--Only the waffle house of I-25 sucked so bad one night, maybe they got a new staff.

Sounds cool, but I'm not on the way anymore. I used to live in Ft. Collins, but I got dragged away about 6 years ago, have a blast!

Either go through Monument Valley to Moab then 128 to I 70. 128 is on the colorado river and very nice. Or Clifton to 78 to Mule Creek and 180 up through New Mexico. Both ways are very pretty.
