Well thought that would get peoples attention at least. There isnt one yet (unless i dont know about it, if there is point me the way)

Hey i know there is a good handfull of you all here that live in oregon, and would like to get something together at least once a year for us sportsters to meet up and take a ride. I figured we should get something started now so we all have something to look forward to come spring or summer. I thought it would be cool to just have a sportster get together since this is a forum dedicated to sportsters. Post some suggestions, a particular month that sounds good, a place or a time to meet, and what route you all would like to go. it doesnt have to be a marathon, or overnight run shoot id be happy just to take a few hours ride with a pack of sportsters Oregon has many backroads im sure we can come up with something. Hopefully by the time spring and summer comes well have quite a few people add to this thread and well get something going. For starters, i live in Beaverton Oregon, i am 38 years old my name is dave and i have an 883 to 1200 conversion 2000 sportster. I dont ride like a bat out of hell, and am not into impressing anyone with speed im just into getting together with some cool folks for a ride then maybe even some dinner after. So go ahead people and start adding your names and suggestions! :clap

Cool.
I live in Seattle but my bro lives in down there in Newberg so it'd be a good excuse for a visit.

Hi Dave.

That makes two Daves in Beaverton here, it's gunna get a bit confusing.

Ok, First off, have you come out to any of the ride the Sunset HOG club put on?
We are attached to the Tigard dealer(Paradise) and would love to have you come along.
You can check our calender at......

As far as ride planing, I know a few good routes to run, up the mountains or too the coast, just let me know where and how far you feel comfortable to go.

Of Course, if I am to go on the run, be aware, i now ride a E-glide.

Well now....see you might consider making it an XLF/V-2 forums run.
You could group the Sportys in one group and us BTs in another group.
We can see if you Sporty guys can keep up :D :rolllaugh

From the other Dave in Beaverton. I'm not really a big group rider but it might be fun for a get together.
And I for one think there won't be any problems with the Sportsters staying in front of the BTs. :smoke
