will the newer style pullback risers from harley which have the riser covers for an 04/05 1200C fit a 02 1200C? I think 04/05 they got rid of the riser bushings. At least that's what it looked like in the diagram that my indy showed me. Do the wires still go through the riser? At my indy we went over the parts and they all seemed to be interchangeable. I can use my handle bar clamp with the indicator panel the indy said. Does the 04/05 still have a 3 1/2 riser width? DO these risers really pullback the bars much at all? they look like the usuall 4" pullback risers just with covers which is why i want them so i can keep the wires in the middle hidden.

Should be a even swap, all H-D's use a 3 1/2" center for the risers.

Mikeli as I recall I had someone measure them on their 04' custom once and they told me the rise was approx. 5.5". I don't remember how much pullback but someone with an 04 or 05' custom should be able to grab you some measurements. If you call a Dealer, a knowledgeable parts guy should be able to answer all your questions. I don't know how much that once piece riser costs, but you can bet that you wanna be sitting down when they give you a price.

thank you everyone for your help. i am going to see what is out there for a bit and make up my mind.

also you might want to watch out for your speedo. If you have a custom your speedo might be real close to the tank with the pull-back risers.

i thought of that. especially since i have a custum tank on my bike. but i noticed the 04/05 speedos are built into the riser clamp. mine is a bracket that attaches to the bottom of the clamp and hangs down more than the newer ones. the newer seem to be more in the middle of the riser than underneath it like mine is.
