O'k., where the heck did you hide the battery. I don't see a kicker and the bat has disappeared. Is it in the middle of the oil tank or somewhere else. Love the oil tank. Nice twist on the sporty. Not so fond of a stiff ride though. Memphis streets suck and it would kill me.

I really like the look of your ride,

for everone else i think the black thing you may be talking about is the brake line?? otherwise i don't see what you are looking at, and the battery has got to be in the oil tank, right next to the key...

I wants ta build an oil tank like this . Im guessing the battery is in the oiltank towards the back fender. I have thunked about ridged struts for show but my back says no full time , well maybe the occasional short ride. ridgeds are a bitchen fun ride but just like drinking there is always a hangover and Im not getting any younger even if I plan on living forever

The battery is under the frame right in front of the swingarm. Yeah it's hidden pretty good.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

As for the rigid setup. It rides like a sack of bricks!! But there is just something about a rigid. And the ability to get the bike so low is just an added benefit. Plus no offense to you guys, but I just hate the look of shocks on the swingarm. It's just unattractive to me.

You guys need to help me find a headlight. I hate the top mount I have on it right now, plus it's the factory black. I was debating getting a "chopper" style headlight, but not sure how it would look without it being raked out.

Give me some ideas guys.

looks great! i just ordered a bottom mount headlight from my local indy shop. 42 bucks. i'll have to take a pic or 2 when i get it. its chrome, not sure if im gonna like it. might spray it black. not too big on the chrome.

bout your hidden battery and oil tank. where'd u get the oil tank and could u get a closer pick on how you hid the battery PLEASE :yikes been dying to do it. what year is your bike?

Did you get that headlight? Let me know and send me or post a pic of it.

I got the tank from a buddy. My friend gets PAID to hang out with all the famous bike builders, and go to bike shows for his company. He knows all the guys: Billy Lane, Matt Hotch, Pittbull, etc.

I will try to remember to get a pic of that battery set-up. Not the greatest set-up for rainy conditions, so silicone should be added to the terminals. Also it wouldn't work unless your going to use a rigid mount.
