I am in need of dyno results for EFI bikes. My dealer is having "issues" tuning my bike and is falling back on the "They're all like that...(two techs) or "those are good numbers for a Sportster (other two techs)." The bike in question is a stage 1 XL50 with V&H straightshots (baffles in); SE air cleaner, SE Race Fueler.

Please post or send dyno sheets for your EFI bikes.

Is your graph posted somewhere right now for comparison? And you're just looking for Stage I EFI 1200 models?

Just a thought but are those Straightshots slipons or the whole system. That makes a difference. The slipons still use the stock crossover if memory serves me correct and the full set does not. Big difference in your results with using that crossover.

Big difference in your results with using that crossover. These are V&H Straighshot slip-ons, so the crossover system is still in place. BTW, I now have download seven dyno charts. My A/F is at or over the exteme ends of all of this (too lean at higher speeds, too rich at lower speeds). I look forward to posting updated results as I work through the first of the EFI tuning issues.

I find it kinda weird that all the BT owners install SERT'S not SERF'S.......
The SERT on T.Bagger allows the parameters of the EFI to be just about infinitely adjusted. Or you can use the canned maps that come with. What are the advantages of the SERF over the SERT?????

The SERF is less expensive and does not require a laptop computer or dyno to tune. It can also be removed and installed on another bike of the same type. If you are a seat of the pants tuning kind of guy it might be for you.

Professor, Sorry I still haven't installed the stage 1 with the sert. I am going to buy a laptop as soon as vista is out. I do have all the parts including the pythons and se ac. Does anyone know if the RS232 can be adapted to a usb and not have any problems in the download of the race tuner.

The adaptors are universal, they should work fine to link your data.

Here is a link to a typical vendor...or do a Google search for others!

Also, make sure you have the My2007 MT6 files on your Tuner disk so you can install the proper maps for your setup.

Have fun,
