I bought a pair of Faarken Biker Stirrups over the web, and the product seems to be excellent and the service was also. I ordered on day one and received the product on day three.

The stirrups are a short strap that goes under the sole of a shoe or boot and attaches with a strong gripper to the pants leg on each side, to keep pants from getting blown up the leg when at speed.

If you like loose leg pants, or maybe have to commute to work in some kind of dress pants, they do a good job. I tried them today.

The owner (bob@faarken.com) said he got a "cease and desist" letter from another company's lawyer because his product, which was formerly "Hawg Ties", had almost the same name as another product, even though they were very different products. He decided not to litigate, and remembered that the Dutch (his ancestry) name for pig or hog was "varken"; he went for "Faarken" which was close in pronunciation, and seemed to him to appeal to the rebellious biker image in all of us.

The product has a choice of decorative outside grippers (maltese cross, skull, rose, etc.) I have no connection with the company, http://faarken.com/ but it's a good product that works well, and has good customer service. If you're looking for a product to keep your pants down at speed, this will do it.

Bob asked for me to feel free to place another "Faarken order", and tell my friends, which I decided to do.

Good post Dave, good idea to keep a pair in the saddlebag.
