I posted this earlier as a follow up in a different post (under Yosemite) but thought it deserved its own post.
One Hell of a great time, I assure you.
Especially to you Fast, Hot Rod, Cafe', twisty fanatic type riders.
But if interested, need to make prior arrangements for lodging.
With that being said; for those who like a slower pave, the scenery is second to none IMHO.

CAMS VII is coming soon to a lovely back road near you!
That's right Ladies & Gents. Folks from all over California and places
beyond
will be heading to Midpines, CA for a weekend of riding, food, fun and
laughs in and around Yosemite National Park.
By now many of you know the program. But here are the salient details:
What: CAMS VII - the CAlifornia Meeting of Sportsters
When: May 4 - 6, 2007
Where: The Yosemite Bug Hostel in Midpines, CA. See:

Who: Sportster and Buell aficionados (and friends) from all over
Why: This is the question we keep asking ourselves!
Yes, there will be this fabulous National Park nearby, you may have heard of
it, the locals call it Yosemite. And yes, Yo Bug still has a wide variety of
lodging accommodations to suit even the most stringent budget including tent
cabins, single-sex dorms, co-ed dorms and private cabins. The legendary Yo
Bug restaurant will be there serving beer, wine and soft drinks.
We have moved the date earlier this year in an effort to avoid the bulk of
the tourist-season traffic - but we're still far enough into Spring to give
us a wonderful chance of having excellent riding weather.
The road from Midpines into the park at El Portal is still suffering from
last year's land slide, but we're told it is open via a series of one lane
bridges. Of course there are slightly longer routes bypassing that stretch
to the North and the South should alternative entries be desired or
necessary.
If you haven't been there, this is one of the most fabulous places to ride a
motorcycle on the planet. If you have been there, then undoubtedly you can't
wait to return.
This year we will answer many of the questions troubling the motorcycling
nation such as:
Where in the world is Kidcoocoo? And will we ever see him again? Are
attractive young women really more fun than motorcycles?
Why is it taking The Other Ed so long to build his garage?
Will anyone volunteer to ride in front of Darryl after last year?
Will Betty still be suffering from a power shortage? And, if so, will she be
coerced into turning off her bike by evil Committee members?
Why are so many Sportster riders now riding Buells?
What in the world has Carl been doing?
Yes Virginia, these questions and more will be asked and answered at CAMS
VII. There will of course be the highly entertaining Friday night patio
cocktail party as well as the Saturday night awards banquet and roast!
DON'T MISS IT! DON'T BE A LOSER! COME TO YO BUG WITH US IN THE SPRING AND BE
SOMEBODY!!! Plus you know if you don't show up we're all gonna sit around
and say nasty things about you..
Of course WE will be there. Irreverent as always, making fun of anyone and
everyone (including ourselves). We wouldn't have it any other way. We are
looking forward to seeing you all SOON!
