Go to the main HD web site. Just a picture on the intro page. No other info is posted yet.
Looks like it only has a single disc brake up front and spoked wheels. Interested to see what the other cosmetic chages are.

Chopped fender, fork boots, drilled belt guards.

Interesting.
Notice the rear fender is chopped and devoid of a liscence plate bracket.
And the fork sliders have gators to protect the seals?
Am I imagining it, or is that front tire more beefy possibly with some off-road tread too???

Holy crap it's slammed...
3.9 in. of ground clearance :frownthre and the worst lean angles of the entire sporty family...
Chopped front and rear fenders; side-mount license plate; stop-tail-turn lights; low 25.3" seat height; front fork gaiters; new graphics and engine finish; black finishes throughout

I'm really surprised at myself.
I really do like it more than I hate it.
I've been about black over chrome since I saw my first Ironhead "Sturgis" model all those years ago.
And the black mirrors, black motor, black fork lowers, black turn signals and feck, black rims, are all styling cues I tend to like.
I don't generally care for spokes, but I MIGHT be getting over that, especially with the black rims.
And I DEFINITELY don't care for the ride height, ground/cornering clearance, but visually I like it a lot.

Progressive 412's, 12.5" or more and a front fork kit also. Should solve the problem.
I'm not a big fan of the seat, maybe a Brawler to set me back a little more and some fwd controls (bring them to a friends shop, blast the chrome off of them and powder coat them back!!!) Hmm..sounds like a plan. Oh ya, needs smoked markers also and it's a win!

5 inches shorter than the 1200c and 1200r
20lbs LESS than a 1200r (17lbs less than a 1200c)
lean angles
Nightster 30 deg/29 deg
Custom 31 deg/29 deg
Roadster 32 deg/32 deg

Now that's the ONLY factory "stock" Sportster I have ever seen that actually looks good. Most of them need several thousand bucks in accessories to come close to looking that nice. With this bike, I'd add forward controls and a tach, and realistically that would about do it (although I'm sure I'd find something else to add later on...).
Nice job Harley. You have been paying attention to the owners of the best selling, longest production bike in your history.

Here are my problems with this bike:
Rocker Box, Derby & Inspection covers should be wrinkle black
Use of Brawler seat leaves a two inch gap between seat & tank
Black cast wheels from 1200L should be standard (with the black laced as an option)
For this price premium over a 883R you should at least get either a tach or dual front discs.
Other than that, a nice bike and a step in the right direction. The black denim paint from the Street Bob would also be a great option.

Here is the official HD News Release that came out today...
Harley-Davidson XL 1200N Nightster Rocks on the Road
New Sportster Model Fuses Fiendish Formula of Performance and Style
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harley-Davidson
Sportster motorcycles get a burst of adrenalin with the launch of the new
XL 1200N Nightster. With a wicked combination of exceptional performance,
unique design and a low seat height, the Nightster has a gritty, urban feel
offering a sharp ride for the street.
The new Sportster model was announced today at the Harley-Davidson
Winter Dealer Meeting in Orlando, Fla. Blending a low seat height and
mid-mount controls with the powerful torque of the rubber-mounted Evolution
V-Twin engine, the XL 1200N Nightster adds another exciting option to the
Sportster family.
"The XL 1200N Nightster is a blacked-out street bike that continues a
half century of Sportster tradition of innovative, fun and versatile
motorcycles," said Bill Davidson, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle
Product Development. "With loads of truly select features and components,
the Nightster takes all the enhancements made to the Sportster family in
recent years to an entirely different level."
The distinctive look and feel of the XL 1200N Nightster centers on a
low seat height of 25.3 inches that makes it comparable to the XL Sportster
883 Low, an inch lower than the XL Sportster 1200 Low and among the lowest
riding of all Harley-Davidson models. Besides enjoying the lower seat
height, the Nightster rider goes solo with a one-piece, Sportster classic
seat.
The mood gets drastically darker on this new Sportster, as the
Nightster features a host of black components. Black wheel rims and hubs
contrast with chrome spokes, while the front forks and clamp, headlight
cover, handlebar, levers, turn signals and air cleaner insert are all
finished in black.
The rear belt guard and front fender clamps are also black, but are
opened up with a bullet hole pattern. The rear fender is cut back to show
more of the rear tire. The back of the Nightster rides without a separate
tail light, as that feature is integrated with the rear turn signals.
Taking the latest Sportster design for a ride into the past, the
Nightster features a side-mounted license plate holder and front fork
gaiters. While the side-mount license plate is a street design cue, the
fork gaiters are a retro component that can help protect the fork seals
from dirt and debris.
The Nightster rides smoothly with a 1200cc Evolution engine, which
features a new Medium Gray finish with polished and black treatments. The
transmission and airbox cover also sport the new finish. The Evolution
engine provides a responsive throttle and high performance, while the
integrated transmission has quietly meshing helical cut gears and
lightweight dog rings that reduce shift effort.
Like all 2007 Sportsters, the Nightster has Electronic Sequential Port
Fuel Injection (ESPFI), reduced clutch lever effort, redesigned gauges,
high performance carbon fiber belts and improved front brake lever effort.
As part of the original Harley-Davidson hot rod motorcycle family, the
Nightster has a design refined from the racetrack to the street that is
primed for customized creativity.
The Nightster is available in Vivid Black, as well as four two-tone
paint schemes with a unique Harley-Davidson fuel tank graphic. The fuel
cap, headlamp trim ring and oil dipstick cover are coated in a new Silver
Satin finish. The Nightster is offered only in North American markets.
The XL 1200N Nightster features:
Rubber-mounted 1200cc XL Evolution engine
Medium Gray powder-coated engine with polished and black treatments
Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI)
High-compression, high-flow cylinder heads
High-performance cams
Smooth, quiet transmission
Light clutch lever effort
25.3-inch solo seat height
Low front and rear suspension
Black front forks with gaiters
Bullet hole rear belt guard and front fender clamps
Black, low rise handlebar with brake and clutch levers, turn signals
and air cleaner insert
Side-mounted license plate holder (dealer-installed rear mount option)
Brake and tail lights integrated with rear turn signals
Black mid-mount foot controls
Black-rimmed, Laced Steel wheels
Chrome staggered shorty slash cut dual exhaust
Silver Satin finish fuel cap, headlamp trim ring and oil dipstick
cover
Optional Smart Security System

I really like it. If I ever get the dough to own two bikes, I will trade my '06 1200C for a Nightster and buy a Road King Custom (or Classic.) I would trade my bike for one of these now but it lacks a 4.5 gallon tank (I do alot of long distance riding) and saddlebags and a rack would ruin the bike.
The bigger deal here is that Harley seems squarely commited to the Sportster.

I like the gaitors on the forks. I have been considering adding a pair to my bike and now I can get the 1200N ones that will fit my forks properly.
The coloring on these bikes is great as well. I like all of them. The black and orange. The light blue and black. The green and black. The silver and black.

The weight of a tachometer, second caliper and disc, some sheetmetal and ????
Differences in wheels maybe? Though you expect mags to be light, maybe the wires are lighter? I dunno....

Ya know I'd forgotten that they'd LOWERED the 883L slightly more for 07.
Well, judging by the way that DRCstang can ride his in the twisties, maybe I gotta stop being such a grumpy bastard about the lowered bikes.
Yeah they touch down sooner, but he REALLY could get his around a turn pretty well. I venture many people will own and ride this, even a tad on teh agressive side without worrying too much about the ground clearance.
YES, if you throw it into turns you'll run out soon, even sooner the bigger you are, but for real world riding I bet it will be fine for most people.

Yes, you just have to find a set that fits the size of what you have.
Their purpose is to protect the sliders from things (dirt, bug, debris, nicks etc) that could damage the fork seals.

I flat love this new Sporty. Reminds somewhat of my old 1984 XLX1000.Except those had the cast wheels and were not lowered. I've been thinking of getting a new Sporty-possibly an XL883R, but now I have to rethink it all.
I'm not thrilled with the fact these have less ground clearance though. At 5'10" I don't need a 25" seat heigth.

Ah, thanks Kev. Do you know of any place that sells them?
They're MUCH more popular with the Metric crowd, so I'd try any Metric catalog, even from J&P or the like.
Only problem would be fit, i.e. how they are to be secured to the fork legs.
Plus you'd have to remove the lowers to put them on (unless they are of a split design, like those cheesy replacement CV-boots that are supposed to go on without disassembling the joint).
Of course, with some patience, I imagine the Harley ones will become available...

I agree totally. There are so many bikes on here with the same fender chop its not even funny. The only mod I haven't seen on this forum is drilling out the front fender brackets- big deal. If they did take some of those ideas from the forum, you'd think the Moco would have listened to us about the crappy suspension by now.

Since it's a stock part on the 1200N I can't imagine it taking too long to show up. I have been searching for a pair for my sportster without much luck. I am guaranteed the harley ones will fit well. I'm not big on the looks of them, but from what I hear they sure make fork seals last a long time.

Check out these that I put on my XLX. They're from a Honda GB500 and fit like they were made for my bike (but I have 35mm forks). The lower ends even snap into lower leg groove for the old dust caps.

Word from a guy at the rollout at the winter dealer meeting in Orlando today...
when they drove the bike out on the stage to introduce it, the dude ridin' it did a burnout for @90 seconds, completely obscuring all views of the "four cam fury."
shipment begins on this in feb (and will continue for the rest of the 07 model year till june)and this is NOT a "limited" deal...a full production unit that will also be a part of the 2008 product line. SO....DO NOT LET YOUR LOCAL DEALER (OR "STEALERSHIP") CHARGE YOU TOO MUCH OR TRY TO PULL SOME LIMITED PRODUCTION BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!
as far as additional ponies & handling issues the dude that hatched this baby ("Rich") is ALL about performance... he is pursuing ways to "lighten the load"/improve power to weight ratio AND he is, by all accounts, passionate (a STRONG word!) about reminding everyone that SPORTster is derived from the word sport.

A hit from HD in my opinion. I like all the little extras they did. And yeah I think they have been on the Forum lurking;) I would like to see one in flat black (up) and vivid black (down) two tone though. If not flat black maybe the same dark charcoal gray as the new engine cases. Wrap the exhaust too. A lower profile solo seat. All in all, I applaud HD on this one!

And where did many of the people on this forum get the inspiration and ideas to transform their bikes? From bike magazines, bike shows, and maybe even some T.V. shows. Very few will admit it, but it is true. Sort of narrow minded for us to think that we have all the original ideas, and that HD has tons of time to come on this web site and steal them.
I applaud HD for finally making a modern day Sportster that looks cool out of the box. This can only serve to improve the opinion of the Sportster line that enthusiasts already know to be one of the best bikes available.

Hootie you got that right, the individuality part is gone,:doh Kinda like part of the forum has just died, this bike will be as common as your local McDonalds on every intersection you see.
No way in hell did H-D think of that on there own, they are famous for searching the lastest trends in motorcycles and taking it to production, like the V-rod, Streetbob, Badboy etc, it should be no big shock for those who have been around H-D for along time to see them venture into trendy waters, they've been doing it for over 100 yrs now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Although the bike is kewl overall, just wish it had bigger HP numbers, 180 tire, and kinda a mix between what it is now and something mixed with the CVO lineup.

Harley-Davidson XL 1200N Nightster Rocks
New Sportster Model Fuses Fiendish Formula of Performance and Style
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycles get a burst of adrenalin with the launch of the new XL 1200N Nightster. With a wicked combination of exceptional performance, unique design and a low seat height, the Nightster has a gritty, urban feel offering a sharp ride for the street.
The new Sportster model was announced today at the Harley-Davidson Winter Dealer Meeting in Orlando, Fla. Blending a low seat height and mid-mount controls with the powerful torque of the rubber-mounted Evolution V-Twin engine, the XL 1200N Nightster adds another exciting option to the Sportster family.
"The XL 1200N Nightster is a blacked-out street bike that continues a half century of Sportster tradition of innovative, fun and versatile motorcycles," said Bill Davidson, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Product Development. "With loads of truly select features and components, the Nightster takes all the enhancements made to the Sportster family in recent years to an entirely different level."
The distinctive look and feel of the XL 1200N Nightster centers on a low seat height of 25.3 inches that makes it comparable to the XL Sportster 883 Low, an inch lower than the XL Sportster 1200 Low and among the lowest riding of all Harley-Davidson models. Besides enjoying the lower seat height, the Nightster rider goes solo with a one-piece, Sportster classic seat.
The mood gets drastically darker on this new Sportster, as the Nightster features a host of black components. Black wheel rims and hubs contrast with chrome spokes, while the front forks and clamp, headlight cover, handlebar, levers, turn signals and air cleaner insert are all finished in black.
The rear belt guard and front fender clamps are also black, but are opened up with a bullet hole pattern. The rear fender is cut back to show more of the rear tire. The back of the Nightster rides without a separate tail light, as that feature is integrated with the rear turn signals.
Taking the latest Sportster design for a ride into the past, the Nightster features a side-mounted license plate holder and front fork gaiters. While the side-mount license plate is a street design cue, the fork gaiters are a retro component that can help protect the fork seals from dirt and debris.
The Nightster rides smoothly with a 1200cc Evolution engine, which features a new Medium Gray finish with polished and black treatments. The transmission and airbox cover also sport the new finish. The Evolution engine provides a responsive throttle and high performance, while the integrated transmission has quietly meshing helical cut gears and lightweight dog rings that reduce shift effort.
Like all 2007 Sportsters, the Nightster has Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), reduced clutch lever effort, redesigned gauges, high performance carbon fiber belts and improved front brake lever effort.
As part of the original Harley-Davidson hot rod motorcycle family, the Nightster has a design refined from the racetrack to the street that is primed for customized creativity.
The Nightster is available in Vivid Black, as well as four two-tone paint schemes with a unique Harley-Davidson fuel tank graphic. The fuel cap, headlamp trim ring and oil dipstick cover are coated in a new Silver Satin finish. The Nightster is offered only in North American markets.
The XL 1200N Nightster features:
Rubber-mounted 1200cc XL Evolution engine
Medium Gray powder-coated engine with polished and black treatments
Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI)
High-compression, high-flow cylinder heads
High-performance cams
Smooth, quiet transmission
Light clutch lever effort
25.3-inch solo seat height
Low front and rear suspension
Black front forks with gaiters
Bullet hole rear belt guard and front fender clamps
Black, low rise handlebar with brake and clutch levers, turn signals
and air cleaner insert
Side-mounted license plate holder (dealer-installed rear mount option)
Brake and tail lights integrated with rear turn signals
Black mid-mount foot controls
Black-rimmed, Laced Steel wheels
Chrome staggered shorty slash cut dual exhaust
Silver Satin finish fuel cap, headlamp trim ring and oil dipstick
cover
Optional Smart Security System

I like chrome. I think rubber gators are fugly, and I was glad when most of the bike makers quit using them for street bikes 20 years ago. Wouldn't want a solo seat either. Outside of that, it's a very sharp looking bike. The shiny rocker covers don't fit the overall style though. And yes, there are plenty of better looking bikes right here on this forum.

The olive pearl denim / black denim colors are awsome. That is one nice looking bike. This would be an even cooler bike if it wasn't so low.
The wheel base, rake and trail are all the same as other 1200 models. The reason it's shorter is because the tail light and fender don't stick out past the rear tire as much.

I was like, "well, if I forget about the XR, we could buy this right away, and get that Ducati you want later this year."
I think she's tempted... but it probably doesn't make any sense at all.
Her 883L fits her perfectly and we have beaucoup accessories that wouldn't transfer over.... doesn't make sense.
And besides we couldn't agree on a color - I'd want black and Mirage Orange and she's split between Black and Olive or Black and Suede Blue...
I actually like em all, but black and orange is just f'n right.
Oh well, I guess it rocks to have choices.

That's a real nice looking bike. I was starting to get a little jealous until I saw the seat height and clearance. At 6'2" and a having a love for the twisties, I don't think that bike will never be on my wish list. I'll stick with my beloved carburetted Roadster thank you very much. :clap

Black cast aluminum - light weight will be best.

I started to answer this earlier
my guesses
passenger foot pegs - about 5 lbs
tach - 2 lbs
2nd caliper/pads/rotor - 5 lbs
sheet metal (front and rear fenders) - 2 lbs
wheels - 6 lbs
give or take...
20lbs is a decent amount of weight - it sure adds up quick.

You know how many times that shyte has happened to me?
Back in 93 I had a set of body work custom painted a nice Aqua - something I hadn't seen on a Harley for decades... in 94 they came out with Aqua.
At the same time I lusted after detachable windshields and bags... nothing for my sporty, but suddenly the RK came out with em.
Back in 96 I decided LEDs would make a great addition to the RK's turn signal stalk as additional running and brake lights ... in 97 they came out with a predrilled/wired turn signal mounting bracket with LEDs.
and so on, and so on...

I had just read my latest email from HD, gone to the video link for the Nightster, and came on here to post about it, and found you had just barely beat me to it. In my opinion, THAT should have been the 50th anniversary model. Tuff, retro, enough different from the rest of the line to merit special status... HD dropped the ball by making the wrong selection for the 50th as far as I'm concerned. Even though at 6'3" I doubt I'd fit comfortably on it, I have to give the Nightster a huge 2 thumbs up, 5 stars, etc. :clap

The sportster models need:
1) Better brakes (Dam moco, the brakes sucks!)
2) Better suspension (we can do it with progressive)
3) Transmission trap door back (must be reliable, easy to work on it,
without this, looks like a throw away bike... split the case? WTF!)
4) less weight (rubber mount eat in mcdonnals)
5) better engine (1200 models must be the quick and faster HD,
straight from the factory)
--------------
This bike just have less weight, you can do this with
any other sportster model.
The bike looks good, but more money than the Roadster?
Weber
30th January 2007, 05:46
I dig the paint scheme's...other than that, I'll keep my Roadster.
$1000 more money for less of a bike??????WTF?
I'd end up losing the belt guards and front fender anyways.
I'd change the bars and exhaust too, all of which I have done to my 1200R.
The rest is nothing a little paint and powdercoat and a zip cut couldn't fix. :)
It's a cool concept, and I'm sure that it will bring some well deserved public recognition to the Sportster line up, being as that bike (along with the Street Bob) sum up the current "trend" in bikes....as much as you could expect from a factory built bike, anyways.

I think Harley have done their homework and come up with something that will fit the bill for those riders out there who are not too keen on picking up any tools.
I spotted a few design cues from a whole wide web world of custom or personal scoots, and now that the factory has launched it, everybody with a blacked out or chopped fender Sporty will be seen as a copy cat.
I will be drilling my chain guard, cutting some front fender and rear fender, sending the rims and hubs off to be blasted and powder coated before re-fitted with stainless spokes at Alf Hagon and painting those fork legs black along with the rear fender struts, not because HD have released the Nightster, but because it was already part of the plan for my Sporty. I also reckon it will cost a shed load less than the £10k that bike will cost in the UK. £3k for the scoot plus some good old fashioned blood sweat and tears.
I like it, but not enough to spend close on what a Bob would cost.

already have the lowers painted black, and was considering the fork gaiters.
i was going to drill the chain guard this weekend and take some off the back (so its just still legal in Oz)
drilling the front guards is consideration now i've seen it

<-Snipped-> I guess its cool the MOCO is following what so many of us have already done, but I feel like like they took our thunder. <-Snip-> I think its too much of a rip off of what so many people put hours and hours into around here. <-Snip->
Couldn't have said it better myself. Sure, they may have taken tips from the many fine bike photos and suggestions posted here. So what? Seems like they just might listen.
Sometimes you gotta be careful about what you ask for... you just might get it.
I noticed something that seems outright tacky to me, though. Those stoopid silver case bolts/hex thingies on the black casings. What style school did their designers go to.
MAKE THOSE BOLTS BLACK TO MATCH THE STYLE . They cheapen the look and distract from the aesthetics.

Bob G

There's only so many ways to bob a fender..
Not my cup of tea, but should be very popular. THey almost nailed it. Needs a spring saddle, small sissy bar, forward controls and short apes. The holes in the beltguard are a nice touch, but really how much weight reduction is that?? 4 grams?
I can't wait to see some dude put a windshield and luggage on one!! HA!
MY idea of a badass sporty is either a stripped down XR750 racer or hardtail kickstart bobber.
btw...I too will be attending the International Motorcycle show this weekend with the Canon...

This is such an HD thing to do. Modify an existing model in a way that makes it look really different (and very cool). They'll probably make a bunch of money for very little investment. If only our government was this smart :doh
It is a very nice looking bike. I have little doubt that they troll through all of these forums to see what's popular. Again, just smart business on their part.

I'm actually glad HD didn't have this machine available when I was shopping. I'd have spent more money and had a machine that would NOT look good setup for 2up riding. It looks way too good as it is. I have to struggle to click away from the pictures.:o
The 1200N is the 2nd radical new Sportster model from HD. So Europe gets the XR1200 first, the USA gets the 1200N NOW. Of course the new models won't appeal to all Sportster fans but they are bold new designs from the MoCo and I applaud them.

Another quote from the guy at the roll out:
"shipment begins on this in feb (and will continue for the rest of the 07 model year till june)and this is NOT a "limited" deal...a full production unit that will also be a part of the 2008 product line. SO....DO NOT LET YOUR LOCAL DEALER (OR "STEALERSHIP") CHARGE YOU TOO MUCH OR TRY TO PULL SOME LIMITED PRODUCTION BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!"

I have just realised that a lot of the posts on this thread are hinting that the design was taken from XLForum.
Cheez folks, come on ....... do you seriously think that this is the only place in the whole world that could possibly have those styling cues on a Sportster, or any other bike for that matter.
The bobbed rear fender has been around since the days of the WLA's, Black rims and hubs have been around for the same amount of time, as have drag bars and blacked out engines, and as for the gaiters and side mount plates.
You mean there are other Sportster related forums besides the XLForum????????:shhhh

I agree. Otherwise I would of bought this and tried to make it comfortable for touring/two up riding.
It is one bad ass looking bike, just wouldn't work for me.
I'm glad the moco is paying attention to what riders are doing and responding, just like in the 70's when willie g noticed what bikers were doing to their hogs, and the moco comes up with the superglide.
I'd like to see a cvo/100 hp version :smoke

No, I knew that, I was responding to the post where someone said THIS should have been the 50th Anniversary model, and I was saying that although I agree the 50 Anni should have been styled more like this, I'm GLAD this one ISN'T limited... :geek

Otherwise the dealers will still try to.....wait..wtf am I saying, they're gonna try to jack the price on these anyways!!!
Anyways, seems Corbin has a replacement for the stock saddle using thier Hollywood solo. Looks like it'll flow with the bikes lines pretty well. Bet it has to be better than the stock MoCo saddle though.

I be likin' it, mostly, don't like side mount license plate (off balance) but then I don't like license plate mounts, don't like license plates. I would want forward controls but that's just me... and a tach. And maybe black pipes and or mufflers, have to see. Gonna put black slip-ons on when I do Stage 1 on my 883c, then i'll know you betcha.

I actually like the side-mount license plate, only it would be better turned vertical. Anybody have access to the part #?

Detroit flails away with 8 of 10 models lackluster and dropping customer interest. Their board members need to pay H-D $100,000 per person, and all spend a full month at H-D seeing what it takes to produce factory passion that swoons customers to the dealers - with checkbook in hand. Mechanically, there is nothing different about the Nightster. A bit of cosmetic juggling and they have what "appears" to be an all new machine. H-D hits another home run and their annual financial report WILL verify it. Their are four main things that sell vehicles at a fast pace: Price, quality, performance, appearance. H-D has become a master at appearance (customer draw) and quality (customer growth). And their price and performance is not terribly bad to attain the first two = $sales$.

I second that.
The other wrong thing in this bike is the price.

Which would make it illegal in some states. Remember, H-D has to build to make them legal in all 50 states, and some require the license plate be oriented a certain way. Not sure how often is is enforce, but it could be just another reason to be stopped.

I like the 1200N. It looks sharp. There are definitely some parts on it I'd like to put on my R.
But at 6'2" I like the seat height of my R. So I do not know if I'd be able to ride it. I did not like the L when compared to my R.
So, I'll be sticking with my R.
The only thing that might make me seriously consider trading in my R is a Screaming Eagle Sportser.

I LOVE the 1200N. But there are two reasons I haven't put a down payment on one yet. Over the last two years I have put so much passion and money into my 883 that Its not worth trading it in on a bike that looks almost exactly like it. The other reason is that I talked to some of the salemen at the dealership about it yesterday. They said that the MoCo is going to up the Sportsters to a 180 or 200 tire in the next year or so. I would DEFINATELY buy a "Nightster" if it had a 200 tire from the factory.
Regardless, I love the 1200N. Good job MoCo.
