Hi everyone. I have been lurking here for a while, but haven't posted yet. I am from North west mass, right next to the NH border. 3 weeks ago me and my father both bought harleys at the North East motorcycle expo in wilmington, ma. I bought a 2001 1200c. My father bought a 96 Heritage softail. My bike has SEII pipes, putting big city thunder baffles in the pipes and some kuryakn trigger grip levers. I plan on getting a crash bar added on soon. My fathers is stock except for some V&H pipes. Here's some pics from the expo of our bikes.

Needless to say, I can't wait for spring time. I am hoping to start riding in the beginning of april. My sporty is my first street bike, and 2nd motorcycle I have ever owned. Before this I had a 1976 husky dirtbike. It was a 250 and man did it rip. Unfortunately the con-rod met it's demise when I didn't mix enough oil in with the gas. But I got some good rides out of her. Even though all the shocks were shot, and it was a definate rat-rod, I loved that thing. First day I had it the kickstart sh!t the bed, so I had to run down the road and jump it into gear to get it going. But I had a blast with it. I am very excited about some of the road trips I plan on having this year. NH is about 1/4 mile up the street from me, and the kangamancus highway is about an hour and a half away. I can't wait.....

Racing isn't m style. I'll pull up to ya at a red light, rev like I wanna go, then granny shift while you race away like a fool. Street racing is for fools.

Street racing is a dangerous game. If you can do it safely were you are, then go for it. Where I am I won't be doing it.
