I've seen this on the old board, but just found it. Hardly worth the price, but cool.

I wish the belt were more exposed though, as with all the chrome it looks enclosed anyway.
Whats your take?

No chrome ... polished aluminium ... costs way to much for nothing!
Price is around 2600 Euros. :frownthre :frownthre
Makes the V2 some 20mm larger to the left side. Oil for the gearbox reduced to I don't know what amount. :frownthre

If I wanted an Open primary, I'd want a really OPEN primary. That's more decorative than anything and I'll bet it weighs more than the cover it replaces.
Still, it does look kinda cool.

Eh... I don't particularly like open primaries on big twins. Certainly don't like it on a Sportster.

Well it would pay for itself in about 1000 primary oil changes at $4 per quart of oil. Let's see I change the oil about once a month for 8 months of the year...
1000 oil changes / 8 oil changes per year = 128 years
Sounds economically justifiable to me ;)

Nope, don't care for the look at all. And it'd be a real mess with the next armadillo I hit.:cry1
