Ron, Welcome! When I saw your bike at Worth's I could only say, "Well done, HD." The dealer rep (and saleman) said the bike has internal changes that give it additional power/performance. Can you speak to that? Have you considered having it dyno'd? (mine was the first EFI sporty on Worth's new dyno).

Please post riding impressions as soon as possible here and on the hdforums.com. Your bike is causing a real stir, so please keep us informed.

I hate to say it.. but the motor is stock. confirmed today with the capitol drive rep at work. why they advertise it as something else, I dont know. he said the only change was the color.

i'm looking further into this though, if and when i get some specs i'll let you know

:welcome rolnlow! You work at the plant, how cool!!!

That's great news to hear. What have you heard about the new
"sexy european" XR1200? Are you building them too? Will they sell here too?

C'mon, you can tell us, we know how to keep a secret.

to be real honest, I'm not to sure how I can comment on that. but i pronise I will ask tommorow, keep in mind the bikes I usually know as "project names" not they're market names. I'll see what I can find out on that one.

I think I know which one your talking about, but of course I know it by a different name.. if its the same one.

When you go to the picture that has information bits as you mover the curser (Under the Nightster, to to "features" then click "powertrain") the website boasts that the Nightster has "Highflow heads, performance cams..." etc. However, if you go to the other 1200cc Sportsters, the same information is there. Regardless, this is one nice bike.

Welcome aboard! My brother has mentioned heading to your plant once a year when you offer the test drives (at least I think it's at the plant???? Do you know if that's right or when it is?) I'd like to get down there next time around, sounds like a good event. Glad to have you here, that 1200N is one sweet ride!

There is post on the Missouri board to plan a spring ride. We can plan other shorter rides too... Maybe put together a list of people that would want to be called at anytime to see if they were interested in taking a ride?

Hopefully we vcan get a KC ride together this spring. Maybe take a trip out to Lawrence to see the new dealership there...Welcome aboard!!
