Well guys I have finally made alot of choices. First off I am going with another motor. I will find one rebuild it and have a better motor. I am going to make this bike (my 72) a rigid and take my time with it. The 72 will be a solo seater.
The reason for this is...... I am getting the 79 sporty from my brother. Has the dual wide tanks saddle bags new chrome controlls i just put on it last year re wired some of it. I dont realy like saddle bags but if i can put the sissy bar back on it I wont mind. They are helpfull after all.
I will have some picks later I wont be getting it for about a month. Only problem I know is with it is. I have to put MY drag bars on it he didnt like the feel of his drag bars. AND he flooded the case with gas and the tranny and the case needs drained and refiled. Of course there will be the spring time bugs. it is a Ironhead after all.. Just wanted to give you guys a full update its been a lil while
