Hi from the PA/WV border,I joined a couple days ago.Haven't been able to check out much yet but I got back this morning from picking up my 2nd street bike,I bought a 06' Shadow this past summer when I took my bud to pick his new 1 up:wonderlan Well I had wanted a sportster after driving my buds 1200 and seeing all the things you can do to them,today made me realize that!Well the dealership I went to did! Waukon,Iowa Harley Davidson is a Class act that all dealerships should follow! I purchased an 89' XLH883 off eBay from them and drove 810 miles Friday and arrived at 3:00 am my time so I could pick my bike up Saturday morning and head back to PA.Well I got there and checked my bike out and it was a nice bike so I was happy with the $3000 bike and while they were finishing up my paper work I was looking at a row of discounted 06' Harleys and had tried to get 1 before the Shadow and my local dealership couldn't for some reason,anywhoo my soon to be wifes b-day is on the 14th so I couldn't leave the pretty Vivid Black XL883C sit there! I took care of her b-day present I guess:banadanc So I have an 06'XLC and she has an 89'XLH,she freaked out(in the good way) and it really fits her with the bars and stuff on it!It has buckhorn bars,foward controls,solo seat.I have a luggage rack coming so when I take the pee pad and sissy bar off it will look nicer!She is stoked & I have got 3 hours of sleep in 2 days and I can't ride!:frownone +10 degrees and snow:frownthre my first post so rules state I can't link or post pics sorry:tour Funny note,I took a 3 hour nap earlier and a friends wife from up the street came over and Dawn & her were outside in the trailer playing while I was sleeping,they sold their sporty's to buy a couple baggers but want sporty's again:doh
