Hello,
My name is Jessica. I have been riding the backroads and highways in Indiana since I met my husband so long ago. The details of my birth year are a lil foggy, however I do remember with fondness and nostalgia Woodstock and the turmoil of the late 60's.
Although I have owned twelve Japanese bikes at last count, I have always had a secret desire to own a Sportster. About this time last year I cruised to the Harley-Davidson website, clicked the Sportster link and within milliseconds I was in love with the black 883R so proudly displayed. Instantly I decided I had found my next bike. Three long weeks passed before the arrival of 'my' Harley. My hubby reported I was sporting the largest smile as I threw my lil leg over over the seat before riding out in the 20 degree weather. Since that cold March day, the love affair has grown with each passing day. I do not comprehend why I love this bike so much other than I simply do. It is certainly the slowest bike I have owned and while the handling is decent its a far cry from the sportbikes I am accustomed to riding. It doesnt matter!! There is something magical about this bike. Perhaps this is the Harley mystique!
