Hey all I have and 86 xlh 883 in need of a outer clutch drum. I know about the magnet problem and its not that. the fingers of the outer clutch drum are extremely worn down. I need info on if that aluminum drum that looks to be rivited in is replaceable or do I have to spend the $337.00 to $500 for the whole drum? Please help before I heat up my credit card!

Hey can you refer me to where you had yours done Please. If not I will get the V-Twin drum from my local and highly recommended indy for $320.00. Tamaque is how far away from Me in Erie? It sounds like it is around Philly.

the place i got it from is called rowe cycles in Bethlehem Pa like i said 230.00 and there actually made for drag racing. the guy welds on the starter gear and replaces the individual magnets with a solid assy. i was actually very impresssed with it. tommy from rowe cycles has been doing sportsters for almost 30 years he wass a flat track racer in the 60s and 70s i will dig up the number for you......i almost forgot but that price is with your old one....but very highly recommended
