I've been a member here for a while, but I haven't actually introduced myself. I've been riding on the road since I was 18. I used to have a Kawasaki Vulcan 750 which I rode cross country.

Now, I'm 25, from NJ, I ride an 2005 XL883C that I recently upgraded to 1200cc. My favorite things to do include riding and working on my motorcycle and flying airplanes. I also own a 1978 Cessna 152 (based at Robbinsville airport(N87)) which, like my Sporty, has a overhead valve, air cooled engine.

My Sportster has the follow mods: Mikuni HSR42 carb, N4 cams, 10.5:1 compression NRHS pistons, 1200cc displacement, XB heads, TC88a ignition, SEII (soon to be Thunderheader) exhaust, SE air cleaner, heated grips (installed today), and other stuff that I'm sure I forgot.

Welcome to the XLF from Northern CA. Sounds like we have the same afflictions. My old flight instructor used to do a great air show routine in a 150 Aerobat. That gal was an absolute hoot!
