dynodavid 11th February 2007, 21:11 Hi folks, I'm Dave. I've already posted a few times. I seemed to have missed the introduction forum til now. I am the happy owner of a 2002 883. It was converted to a true 1200 last summer. I ported and polished a set of ebay 1200 heads, 10.5:1 wiseco pistons, andrews springs and collars, se536 cams, mikuni hsr42, hypercharger, hooker 2-1 w/o baffle. Still need an ignition, got taken on a used one from ebay. I'm thinking a crane, but i guess since i don't have that many mods, any good adjustable will do. Some time in the future there will be a 200 tire on the rear. I ride as often as i can, but not as often as i want. My girlfriend also rides, she has a 2004 savage. She wanted a sporty, but i told her to get some seat time before getting it. Its better to drop a 4k bike than an 8-10k bike. And it has happened.
