I've been riding nearly 40 years but have never bought a Harley. I hadn't really considered cruisers in the past but have been noticing some nices ones lately. Then I saw the Nightster on MotorcycleDaily.com - Wow! I have an olive green/black one on order now. I really like the retro style.
I'll be trading/selling a Buell Ulysses to make room for the Nightster. (I'd rather have a 650 for my dual sport/adventure rides.)
My other current bikes:
2003 Honda Silverwing 600 scooter
2001 Kawasaki Super Sherpa 250
1981 Yamaha XV920R "Euro"
Wife's bikes:
2004 Suzuki Burgman 400 scooter
2006 Honda Ruckus 250 scooter
2007 Piaggio MP3 3-wheel scooter (on order)
The Burgman 400 was the best pillion seat I have ever bought! We never ride two-up anymore. Last summer, we spent 3 weeks riding the maxi-scooters from Seattle to Banff/Jasper/Edmonton/Waterton/Glacier. Bikes were perfect for that laid-back tour.
The only plans for the Nightster (so far) are to upgrade to Progressive shocks and springs. Thanks for the installation tips on this forum!!
