I have a 2003 xlch, I installed a harley mini-tach, works fine but after about a hour of rideing condensation starts forming under the glass, doesnt matter if its dry or wet out, day or night, hot or cold. I've asked the service manegers at a couple of dealerships and they had no remedy. Anybody have any ideas?

Condensation will ALWAYS get in....having a way for it to get OUT is the key....

A small bag of dessicant somewhere inside your speedo may help,as well...

DON'T try to make it airtight......that will just make your problem worse....

You need to find the finest drill bit you can and put a small hole on the underside off the unit this will fix the problem.

Yup...on my oil temp cap, I put a tiny hole in the lens, and never had a problem since....

Nitrogen purge....

You get one of those nitrogen cylinders from the
welding suply store, one of the big ones should last all
summer. The you build this (large ass) bracket
on the back of the bike...
