View Full Version : ama pro racing adjust weights to the 1125 turn8a 13th April 2009, 22:40 http://roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=36135 NRHS Sales 13th April 2009, 22:48 That was just a matter of time with Eslick dominating. ReddTigger 14th April 2009, 00:39 So they added an additional 15 lbs. This is so similiar to what NHRA Did with the harleys a couple of years ago, and then the harley's started dominating again. you can keep adding on weight, but we'll keep finding ways to win. maru 14th April 2009, 02:58 They added 15 to the Buell and subtracted 5 from the 4's so it is really a 20 pound difference from last time out. Stephen Lowry 11th May 2009, 00:04 Well we knew that was coming, funny thing is they japs always start crying when a twin starts winning, or even gets close.............steve maru 17th May 2009, 21:10 From what i hear the Buell has been and remains over the 385 minimum. The 600 guys were complaining but the facts are the 600's have set the fastest laps at every race including the ones Danney has won. The Buell comes off the corners hard and is capable of winning but it is not the overdog some think. If it was it would have the fastest trap speeds and the quickest lap times. Danney has yet to qualify on the pole or set the race fast lap despite riding the wheels off the thing. It is a shame that more ink has not been spent on how the bike is competitive with parts the average Joe can actually buy. The top 600's have always been sprinkled with stuff that only a factory can provide and they don't make that stuff widely available. |
