Has anyone installed one on their bike? If so, what are your opinions on it? I'm looking into getting one for my bike, and I was wondering if they deflect any wind? I'm not too awefully concerned with wind protection, I was just curious. :tour

This is the one:

Mike, i had one on mine, does deflect a little wind. Hard to reach the trip reset and a PITA to get aligned. I bought it off ebay and will let it go real cheap (BO) if you want it. painted black and comes prescuffed. needs a rubber bushing or two. Bill

Headlite visor keeps the headlite from reflecting off the windscreen at night. You usually need a visor if you have a screen. Also looks cool - makes the bike look longer.

CRAP! That figures! I just went and ordered one color-matched from the dealer yesterday :yikes Ah well, at least I won't have to worry about painting it :D Thanks for the offer, though!

Check-out the trim ring extension - It makes the headlight look huge on the 1200.

Can't speak for the visor, but the 1/4 fairing does a decent job of taking the wind pressure off your chest and it looks neat (at least I think so).

Let me see if I can clear up my own confusion here :P I'm guessing the question was about the "headlamp visor" that is more like a bikini fairing - goes around the headlamp and up over the speedo/tach - right? I know the MoCo calls about 347 different products "visors!" LOL. Has anybody used this visor in conjunction with a windscreen? Is there one that fits over/around it, or did you have to cut the windscreen to fit?

How does that visor fit on there. Is the install a pain in the but. It looks cool and I am thinking about one on my nightster
