bought a pair of grips for 04 and up bikes, much nicer feel especially with gloves on. factory grips, not aftermarket . i have average size hands and it always felt my regular grips were too thick. new ones are here to stay.:tour

That's cool you like them... I have read about many people prefering the "fatter" grips, but the smaller diameter grips standard on my '06 have never bothered me. In fact, I want to be sure that any aftermarket grips I am considering will not be any larger than factory...

I'm right there with ya! I'd heard somewhere that the larger diameter were supposed to be so comfortable so I went and bought some. After about 10 minutes of riding, I had an ache from my thumb right up my forearm!:frownthre
Went straight back to the smaller version.
Ya know the only problem with this? We've now opened ourselves up to the "You know, the size of a mans hands indicate the size of . . . " Don't worry though, if somebody brings it up I'll just kick their a$$ with my size 14 shoe!! :smoke
