Does anyone have a line on an available 34T motor sprocket, PN 40238-64R ?? The dealer network shows one for sale at Riders' in Alabama, but it had been sold. Can anyone help?

XRCR 29th April 2009, 14:41 Hi; I would suggest that you bore out an XL sprocket,and insert a turned down keyed sprocket. Use a light press fit (.002) and then weld the two together. As it is, I've found a 24T transmission sprocket, so I may be able to go with even my current 25T and go fast enough to get the experience I want on the salt. (Making it fit within the sprocket cover is more than tight, though, as clearances are non-existent, so more fiddling is necessary). |
