I just got the issue and damn is there a bad ass jesse james bike on the cover.... I'm a big fan of ww1 and 2 flying machines and ... wow, this is just cool.

Kinda like this guy but blue:

Probably the same Jesse James bike, just painted. That first shot you've shown is of the bike in it's raw mockup stage.

As to the Nightster, clearly Harley is doing everything it can to kill the 'girly bike' thing.

It's probably just me, but I read the Cycle World article and I didn't like it.

Can anybody say torque reaction? Blip the throttle on that thing and watch it roll sideways down the road. Probably won't run without a propeller anyway. No flywheel.
