Is it possible to run my stock sporty CV carb on an 03 Blast?

If so what do I need to change on the blast (auto choke, intake, manual choke on CV, jets, needle, VOES)? It just seems hard to tune the stock carb. If someone has a detailed how-to would be great.

Thanks for all the help,
Jeremy

Go to bad weather bikers and there is a section on there about the blast and tuning the carb. The best thing you can do is reroute the iol vaper line away from the carb.

Yes, but you better cut that air box right out. go with a k&n air cleaner right off the carb. Drill the epa plug out, back off your slow speed jet ( from bottom ) 5 full turns.
Up your main jet the next size and drop the needle one notch. Do plug chops every 2000rpms up to rev limit. coco brown is what they should look like for the street. Lighter means lean and go up on the needle first. Darker do opposite. change main jet only if lean on the top. It all depends on where you live, elevation/temps /your wieght/the carb gods that day/etc, but this should get you going.
