has anyone tried the SERF on the 883? Does it help the stock engine any? Will it eliminate the need for a remap with the SE A/C and SE 50 state exhaust? HD has only one part number for All XL, so it should work on either, but would like to hear from someone who has installed one.

It should work, as it is designed to a decrease of 10% to increase of 50% fuel delivery at the three major RPM stages (1000-2000, 2000-4500, 4500-limit). You can adjust the transition points AND the amount of fuel delivery.

Only use the SERF if you like playing with the bike, as trial and error is the rule (unless you have unlimited dyno time). However, it is an easy install and adjustments are simple. The SERF does not know if you have an 883 or 1200.
