I need to know what length, size, threads the 2 oil filter housing bolts are?

They run from the cam cover to like into the oil filter.

The local hardware store dont have them.

The local Harley dealership just dont have them to bolts. And they want $90 for a hole bolt kit. I just need them 2 bolts.

Thanks

I don't have your answer, but I'll see if we can't keep it in the limelight until we find someone who does.

What year is your bike?

Your best bet is to find an independant (AKA Indy or NON-Dealer) shop that works on Harleys. Tell them what you need.

If you get real lucky (like I did) you may find a shop that is owned by some hard-assed "Old Schooler" with a bad right knee (damaged from starting "Kickers"), and an even worse disposition. Don't go in with an attitued, and definately do not mention the internet, eBay, buying stuff on-line, or anything even closely realated to computers.

It may take a while, but once they get to know you the folks at a good indy shop will treat you a whole lot better than the "sales representives" at a dealer will.

Question was asked under a different title.

It helps to know what year bike you have.
