Replacement SOLO seat for 07 XL883

Hi guys,

I was thinking of replacing the stock seat on my bike with an aftermarket seat.

The perfect seat would:

1-Be black leather,

2-Add 1 or 2 inches in height

3-Be a solo seat.

4-Look awesome


Any thoughts/ideas?

The only solo seats for the 07's that I've seen so far are Mustang (http://www.mustangseats.com/sportster04/sportster04.shtml) and Corbin (http://www.corbin.com/harley/xl/).

I personally have a Mustang Wide Vintage. It's not leather (but leather like). I think it looks ok. I don't think it will add any height to your 883 standard's seat (it definitely is higher and further back then the 883L's seat) . But sure is damn comfortable on 10-12 hour days of riding.

I have the Mustang Fastback, and like Dan, I would tell you it's very very comfortable, but it's lower than stock if anything. I like it...my A$$ loves it!

I've got the Mustang solo (the standard width not the wide) on my '05. It's definitely higher than the stock seat, but not as much as 1" - 2". I'd say a bit less than 1".
