I may be missing this but is there an easier way to find a list of threads I've been active in other than the advanced search on my user name. Sometimes I'm away from the forum for a couple days (heresy, I know) and I just want a quick check of threads so I don't miss something.

Cuppla ways.

Click on "quick links" at the top of the page and choose "subscribed threads" from the menu.

Nutha way is to click on "User CP" and choose "List Subscriptions" from the menu on the right. :)

No... that doesn't really do it Gronk. I believe he's asking about threads he's posted in... not necessarily subscribed to.

tstoeckel... you're doing it the same way I do right now. If there's another way, I'd like to know about it too.

It's getting tough to follow the threads you were interested in lately, because there seems to be so many new members and so many new threads all the time.

Look at your profile page, easiest way to get there is find you name in the whosonline and click on it. Here's mine (http://www.xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/member.php?userid=100) so we know that we're on the same page (pun intended). In the middle left side there will be two lines that say "Find all posts by Gary" and "Find all threads started by Gary". Your profile might have uour name instead. Click on those and you'll see everything that you have posted to or created. They will be ordered newest first.

Well if all he wants to do is find his posts then the easiest way I've found to do that is to click on your user name somewhere its visible which should take you to your public profile and then click the link "Find all posts by ____"

Thanks guys. That works but isn't quite what I'm after. When I do the search on my user name I get a list of the threads (as opposed to my individual posts) which lets me scan quickly and see if anyone has responded since I was last on. I guess I was just hoping for a one-click approach to accomplish the same thing. Laziness mostly. Thanks again.

I just checked your profile settings and you are not automatically set to subscribe to threads you post in.

If you go into "User CP" then click on "Edit Options" and scroll down to the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" menu, you can choose to subscribe with "no email notification" which means there will be a list of ALL threads you post in that you can simply check whenever you fell like it by simply following my instructions in post number 2 above.

It really can't be any simpler than that

Thanks Gronk. That sounds like what I'm looking for it. I'll make that change.

but mind you, if you do what gronk says, for each thread you subscribe to, your pm limit will be decreased the same amount.

*edit*
i believe that's the case, at least it is on another forum i visit. it MAY be different here....

That was EXACTLY what I was wanting. Thanks a lot Gronk!

I don't think that happens here. I'm subscribed to over 2000 threads and my PM inbox limit is 200 and has never changed. :)
