Im just askin cos I did the sandblast on my ford heads once ,blew em out with compressed air. When i took it to the shop and told guy I had sandblasted, he Tapped the head on the counter and about a teaspoon of sand fell out- I swear I put enough air through that to create its own climate!!

I think you would be alright. Just don't blast in one area for two long. You might try a chemical stripper first though. Good stuff, not the $.99 cheapo crap. Touch up any oxidized areas with the blaster or something.

I sand blasted mine at work you just have to make sure everything that is important is covered up I made caps to cover both ends of my jugs and exhaust and intake and the valve openings out of teflon and then blasted them turned out real good see my gallery.
