I have a hard time shifting upwards with my stock foward controls, I have to squeeze my foot to get it under the shifter peg. I wanted to know if anyone has this problem or if they replaced their stock foward controls? And if so, what kind did you get? Thanx...

You should be able to adjust the shifter by removing the bolt and moving it back one spline.

agreed, I had to adjust the spacing (one spline up) one my stock mids and again when I put on the fwds. Mine are very comfortable and I can slide my foot under with ease now even with my boots on.

the factory foward controls are about the best you'll find. I know V-twin aftermarket controls really suck. I suggest adjusting what you have, i never had a problem shifting until i broke both my feet a year ago, now im thinking about going to an electric/air shifter.

I haven't tried adjustig it yet( I will this weekend) but I wanted the gear shifter to be under my toes and not in the middle of my foot. I guess I have a big foot! Thanks for all your responses.
