Dats easy, put bars over other bars and start measuring and add a little for curves and ya shuld be just fine and remember, you don't want tight curves and make sure they don't rub on anything impotant

While you're at it, get her a cramp buster.

When I ride either of my GF's bikes ('77 Ironhead and an '87 Virago both with buckhorn style bars), my right hand cramps. I have an '03 883 with stock bars on 4 1/2" pull back rises, and my hands never cramp.

Buckhorns....... although they are my favorite looking bar, I have to say that I actually began having real, by-God carpal tunnel issues.....as soon as I changed bikes, (a'la the Bambi Incident), it went completely away......

Just one bum's observation....... :laugh

Oh, and to answer your question, I went with 6" over on everything and was fine on my 02 883C (http://xlforum.net/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=544).....

Although I DID run the wires thru the bars.....the wiring isn't included in this estimate, but would probably be near the same.......
