JR bplinson 9th April 2007, 11:06 Contact Chris as Superbrace and ask him how many buyers would be needed to get a group buy discount. ReddTigger 9th April 2007, 12:33 I'm in, (as long as it's quick) Seems to be the prerequisite. racerwill 9th April 2007, 12:42 It would be easy to talk me into buying one as well..... Ww jalldredge 9th April 2007, 15:48 I would like to get in on this. I got sick and forgot about ordering on the last group buy. RACERWILL: you need a superbrace just awful! (I hope that helped) bplinson 9th April 2007, 16:09 I am contacting Chris now to find out if Superbrace can handle this and if so how many buyer will be needed and what the price will be. 1STONE 9th April 2007, 16:15 awesome let me know as well Velocetti 9th April 2007, 22:38 Hi Gang: Chris got back to me with the following: " I just contacted Superbrace and asked what I'd need to get it going. They said 30 I think it was so I posted it to gauge interest and then they just did it. I'm not sure if they were looking at the forum or not. I think they had done it before and just offered it as a special themselves. " I was going to contact the folks at Superbrace and see if we can set up a group buy but Bert says he is doing that now so we should hear from him soon. Brian KC_Sporty_Gal 9th April 2007, 22:39 I'd be in for one. jcastino 11th April 2007, 08:14 I'd like one as well! knightrider213 13th April 2007, 03:22 I'm in as well as this is the last mod I want to do for this off season. What kind of delivery are we looking at ? texrex 13th April 2007, 03:28 I'm in, that should finish my suspension mods. Yeah right, like this is ever gonna end :D bills bikes 13th April 2007, 04:31 i want one to Velocetti 13th April 2007, 06:44 I'm in as well as this is the last mod I want to do for this off season. What kind of delivery are we looking at ? I wasn't involved last time, but from the posts I've seen it looks like they shipped quite quickly. bplinson 13th April 2007, 07:30 I'm in as well as this is the last mod I want to do for this off season. What kind of delivery are we looking at ? Because a group buy requires a certain number of buyers all buyers must pay before the items are shipped. If the required number of buyers is not reached then refunds are sent. Many times you get people that say they are gonna buy but then when it come down to actually paying they back out. This can cause a problem for the vendor since they need to make a profit in order to stay in business. If they say they need 35 buyers to give a discount and then only 30 people pay they lose money. I am sure everyone here can understand this. So if you say in this thread that you want to purchase, please be 100% sure that you really do. I have spoken with Chris at Superbrace about this and they in the process of determining whether or not they can do a group buy at this time. If you just have to have a Superbrace by next week then a gorup buy is probably not for you. AKsavage 13th April 2007, 08:34 I'm on the fence about this, can't decide between the superbrace or the SE. I am prepared to commit if we can order them within two weeks have them within five weeks from now. samspade77 14th April 2007, 08:28 What is the normal retail price? I may be interested in the group buy. Notabiker 19th April 2007, 19:21 What are the final details...if we get the 30 people, how much will the cost be? I didn't see it posted here. ANYONE??? I would be interested and there might be others too, if the price was listed here. Does anyone really need the thing immediately, if we can save and have to wait a few weeks I think it would be worth it. But that is just my thought. smackie 19th April 2007, 23:45 gonna have to pull out. ended up ordering a kuraykn fork brace awhile back, thought I canceled the order, but it shipped yesterday. :( Prebs 20th April 2007, 01:03 Retail is between 148.-168 depending on model of bike.. If the price is good I will consider one. But wont commit till I get a price :).. If this is still a go. What is the normal retail price? I may be interested in the group buy. xena 20th April 2007, 02:37 Folks here is a thread from a superbrace group buy that took place a couple years ago just for reference. I don't know if the prices would be better or not but anyway, click here. Moker 20th April 2007, 06:09 i'm in the same boat as prebs. will seriously consider it depending on price they can come out with. Guys I am in if we can get it together. Bern LabRat 23rd May 2007, 22:14 Did anything ever become of this? I would be interested if it is still on. Clarinetcat 23rd May 2007, 22:33 Did anything ever become of this? I would be interested if it is still on. Can't answer your question as to whether it's on or not, but I must have missed this in April... I'd be interested as well. royt 23rd May 2007, 23:11 I'd like to get in on this as well if it's not to late and still going to happen. Notabiker 25th May 2007, 00:11 I pm'd Bert about it he was looking into it. I think with all the new bike owners it would work. bplinson 25th May 2007, 11:25 Well I have some good news and some bad news. Bad news is at this time Superbrace can not do a group buy. They only have one a year and the last finished right before the end of 2006. They would like to do one but it would cause problems for them among their distributors who they would be undercutting. As you can understand this would be bad for business. Good news if that they will probably have another group buy in the fall or winter. Clarinetcat 25th May 2007, 11:31 Thanks kindly for checking on that, Bert. :) racerwill 25th May 2007, 11:45 I would like to get in on this. Ww Goshawk 27th May 2007, 12:13 Could you contact SuperBrace and ask them which dealer would be best to find a group discount?
