" I just contacted Superbrace and asked what I'd need to get it going. They said 30 I think it was so I posted it to gauge interest and then they just did it. I'm not sure if they were looking at the forum or not. I think they had done it before and just offered it as a special themselves. "

I was going to contact the folks at Superbrace and see if we can set up a group buy but Bert says he is doing that now so we should hear from him soon.

Because a group buy requires a certain number of buyers all buyers must pay before the items are shipped. If the required number of buyers is not reached then refunds are sent.

Many times you get people that say they are gonna buy but then when it come down to actually paying they back out. This can cause a problem for the vendor since they need to make a profit in order to stay in business. If they say they need 35 buyers to give a discount and then only 30 people pay they lose money. I am sure everyone here can understand this.

So if you say in this thread that you want to purchase, please be 100% sure that you really do.

I have spoken with Chris at Superbrace about this and they in the process of determining whether or not they can do a group buy at this time.

If you just have to have a Superbrace by next week then a gorup buy is probably not for you.

I'm on the fence about this, can't decide between the superbrace or the SE.

Does anyone really need the thing immediately, if we can save and have to wait a few weeks I think it would be worth it. But that is just my thought.

They would like to do one but it would cause problems for them among their distributors who they would be undercutting. As you can understand this would be bad for business.
