Hi,new to your forum coming to you from down under Australia
Can anyone tell me if a 5 speed Evo will fit into a 1982 frame
if so what mods are necessary

Yes it will fit I put a 93 1200 in my 82 frame, had to weld a plate for the top motor mount to bolt to, that is it . I have a picture of it if someone is willing to post it

Jones, just to be on the safe side, you might want to edit your post to remove the email address. Even with the word "at" written out, some of the better bots can still catch that. PM'ing a person with that kind of info is generally safer.
And 82Iron, if you have an online photo account (e.g. I use Photobucket - it's free, and no junk mail), or if you upload them to your XLF account, you can post pictures yourself, as you do have enough posts to your credit. Generally the former method is preferred, as it makes maintaining (and paying for) the disk space on the server someone else's problem, and not Bert & John's! :D
