So anyone have a xb punched out to 88 yet and got all the ing. and fuelling probelms worked out???

There are several for sale on the bad weather bikers buell forum, one was an all out race bike now detuned for the street thw other is a street bike. I think the racer has 118rwhp with "street" cams in it............

Yeah seems the 88 kit are not for the Xb buells.. only for the Carb. tube models NO one can get the Fuel and Ing. tables to work with these as I am sure there are those that tried.. but don`t post there failures on the forums..etc...

And the Sponsors who do motor kits sure don`t push them either...

yes we provided all the engine parts for that build you linked to. Very expensive and took forever to get it right.

You need a dyno tuner who really understands how to tune an XB using direct link software. And you better be prepared to spend at least $500+ for the dyno tune as it is going to take at least 6 hours to do it right. If you don't have a good tuner forget it, just way to complicated.

Well thats too bad, after 4 or 5 years now and there may be what 1 to 5 if that many that have done this 88 build on a xb...

Like Dan said it won't be easy or cheap, but if you did it and get it right, what a unique street monster you would have.................140WHP with that wheel base could be very dangerous AND lots of fun. Can you say AA/Fuel Altered ????
