Quick question, see, I have got a 1991 Sportster with only 12,000 on it. So far I have put a jet kit in it, header, and filter. My question is this though, can clip-ons be put on it or is that just a really dumb idea?

And also, just another thought, how can i lighten the bike at all and just make the bike overall more "sportier"?

Don't think the clipons make sense on this bike. Not enough leverage, you need the bars on this bad boy IMHO.

Clipons work fine for me as well. Wait, we are talking about ties right? :p

Due to my messed up shoulders clipons are easier for me to live with. The thing with clipons and rearsets is that you will be using your body more to steer the bike than the bars.
