I have added a function to the post editor so that DIGGs can be added. If you see the DIGG button on a post and you like the post click on the DIGG icon to indicate that you like the info in the post or thread.

I will be adding DIGGs to posts and threads that I believe are deserving.

Here is an example of a thread with the DIGG icon: http://xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/showthread.php?threadid=51536 . You will see the DIGG icon near the end of the first post in the thread.

You can also add DIGGs to your own posts by editing them. The DIGG tag must be put in AFTER you have created the thread or post because you will need the thread or post URL.

1. Copy the URL of the thread.
2. Click the EDIT button
3. GO ADVANCED.
4. Click in the icon of the little man with a shovel on the editor tool bar http://xlforum.net/images/16x16-digg-guy.gif (to the right of the YOU TUBE icon)
5. Paste the URL of the post or thread between the DIGG tags. (DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THE EDIT POST URL!!)
6. Click the SAVE CHANGES button
7. When the post shows back up click on the DIGG ICON and you will be taken to digg.com to enter info on the post.
8. Enter the title of the post or thread and a short description.
9. Click on SUBMIT.
10. Digg will probably say that your digg is similar to other diggs so you will need to scroll down and click the CONTINUE,SUBMIT button. If you don't do this your DIGG will not be registered.

You must be registered on digg.com in order for you to submit your own DIGGs.

Don't know what DIGG is?? Then CLICK HERE (http://digg.com/)

OK Bert, you've discovered my secret. I'm an idiot! I have AOL and tried to "Digg it" before registering. As soon as I clicked "Digg it", I got kicked offline. Once I got back online, I registered with Digg, and everything worked fine.

Man, it is so cool that you take the time and effort to maintain and take care of this forum. Not only have I gotten to meet other great people, but I have begun to educate myself on my scoot, and am saving cash with every bit of information I aquire.

Thanks Again

Glad you like this new feature.

You do know that even though you use AOL that you do not have to use their crappy browser right. You can use IE or FireFox.

Just curious about this feature, Is it just so that you can count how many people like your post/thread, or is there more to it than that?

Yes, people can click on the DIGG icon if they like the content of your post. It is kinda like a rating system.
