I'm buying the little led license plate lights for my side mount plate. My question is, where do they plug in? The ones I've seen have a positive and a ground wire on each light. Am I going to have to run those wires all the way to the rear wire harness? If so, what plug on the harness would I connect it to?

I just connected the wires to each other at the plate. Then all you have to do is run one ground and positive under the seat. use a wire probe and find a wire that is hot when the key is on and ground the ground.

Sounds good. I hate the idea of having wires run from my plate up my frame though. Guess there's no other way though.

I ran mine through the swing arm. Then up behind the battery cant even see the wire. Not a big deal man. good luck.
