You think mags are a dirt magnet and hard to clean???
You're trading for the wrong reasons then... :doh
I personaly just like spokes better, but they are WAY harder to keep clean than mags.

honestly I disagree, my first bike was all spoked and easy wipe (I clean weekly) the ones I have collect so much dirt and gunk in the ruff area, I actually prefer the look of the chrome wire to be perfectly honest but I was havin a slight vent and final decision to change :D

Oh, like I said I love spokes, so not trying to change your mind.
It's just the couple of sets of mag wheels I've had, I just aprayed on cleaner, wait a few minutes, then hose off. No wiping involved.
With my spokes I gotta try to get between the spokes (I've got big hands) with my cloth when I wash, and then again when I put the chrome polish on...of course that don't happen much...I don't clean often.
Just wanted to make sure you were informed. It sounds like you've owned both and know what your doing, so, carry on!
Good luck with your search!

I've not tried a spray on cleaner yet, I hand wash, maybe thats what I need to do, thanks for that piece I'll give it a shot! the problem I had was all the dirt sittin in the rough and bein unable to scrub it out.

I can't remember the brand cleaner I use (the rare occasion I actualy do wash my bike...I know, I know, bad sporty owner..bad!) but I'll look when I get home from work and send ya a PM.
Also, using a brush to scrub with will help get out the realy tough stuff. I use a scrubbing brush I found in kitchen wares at wallmart. I think they called it a vegatable brush...I can only assume for clean your vegatables before you eat...which I also don't do. :doh

Sorry it took so long...got alot going on.
It's called Black Majic scrubless wheel cleaner...comes in a maroon spray bottle.
You spray it on your dry, cool wheels, wait 2 min. hose it off...for the tougher stuff ,you can spray a second time and/or use a mild scrub brush (like I mentioned before).
Give it a try..good luck.
