For those of you looking for that trick light weight frame for your hot rod.

Mert Lawwill sells the trick frame he uses on his "Street Tracker" XR.

The frame is all aluminum with a trick rear suspension. The front end uses standard HD forks. Mert uses Buell forks on his bikes.

Now for the sticker shock. The frame w/ rear suspension is $5000.00.

So, if you got the bucks to spend, this would most certainly make you the cool daddy. According to Mert, his bike weighs 470lbs. wet.

By the way, the frames only come in rubber mount.

Mert's masterpieces are not aluminum. They're hacked up stock frames. That way the bike has the H-D vin. He chops the ass end out and puts on that silly FUBAR rear suspension. Then there's no room for the oil tank so it's hanging out so far on the right that the rear carb is angled out even more. I won't even mention the battery. The Lawwill bike is obscenely wide. Like Storz said: Why reinvent the wheel? Steve did a much cleaner "XR" job.
