This past Saturday April 2, thunderstorms came through our area just before daylight. I had a meeting to attend but the weather cleared out around noon. The sun was shinning and the temperature was about 70 here in South Carolina so I went for a ride after my meeting.
That's what I get for not completely listening to the weatherman, the wind went from just a breeze to gusts of up to 50 mph. I have never been hammered so hard by wind in all my many years of riding. My arms hurt from just trying to hang on to the bike. I made it back home which took more than an hour. My eyes were burning, back, legs, arms, were numb. I crashed out on the couch and went to sleep and didn't wake up intill about 2.30 am Sunday morning.
What a Ride!!!!
