I'll be stopping in at the least. I have an idea in my mind that may save all of you some $$. I have a rental property in Lockhart that could accomodate a number of bikes and tents, the place is rented but the tenant is cool and would probably love to see all the bikes and meet all of you. It could become a sportster specific big party unto itself. The only problem is the distance between Lockhart and the Expo center is 35 miles. . City of lockhart won't allow open fires, but we could light up barbecue pits. Water and bathrooms would be available, etc. I think I can arrange it, if there is enough interest.

I just realized that I meant my comment about Saturday to be in the Bandera ride thread. Because, I was thinking "Why would he stay in Austin to goto Bandera?"
I will be going to ROT every day probably. You have my Cell still? call me anytime! ROT or not.

I am going to attempt to make an appearance since I missed last year...but alas, the same reason I missed last year is still in affect this year (I have my kids that week). I may try to go during the day Thur or Fri but I will need to get 'permission' from my supervisor (UGH). Anyway, hope to make it!! Either way, I will be riding my Sporty during the week to show support (shrugs shoulders).

Interesting point of view. It's really just an acronym, but I guess it's all about interpretation and perception. And to be honest, everything is about interpretation and perception in this world. But that's another subject. :luvsport

I am a transplant, got stuck here when I was a kid and just got on with life. I'll be retired in about 8 months and I've already got plans to go back east, probably NC, maybe VA,(depends on the job) but definitely somewhere with 4 seasons...

Reporting from my perch at 7th & Brazos
The storm this morning must have made some folks put off leaving for ROT for awhile. By this time last year MC noise was rapidly going past exciting headed towards irritating and the hotel parking was jammed with bikes. Not so as of lunch today. Hope the campground drains!

Lucky how ROT managed to slip in between weather systems. We had a thunderstorm early Thursday AM and then another that dumped one inch both Sunday evening and yesterday afternoon.
