I just bought the HD blazin' bones full finger gloves this weekend, and broke them in on Sunday for 10 hours in the rain. They have gel padding on the palm and at the base of the fingers (don't know what that section of your hand is called...). Gloves are lined. Length is somewhere between gauntlet and regular, they come up past the wrist. They look wicked cool, My MSF instructor wanted to steal them from me. After being soaked int he rain all day, I thought the gloves would be soggy for days. I got home that night and the gloves felt barely damp. I was very surprised. I'd say they are worth the $60. One concern with the gel padding, with my small, girlish hands, they felt a little thick on my ISO grips. But maybe the gel will flatten a bit, maybe not.
